When you just don't know what to say.....

So I have these friends that are getting married tomorrow. Their story is like just about everybody elses... they met, they fell in love, they wanna get married. Here's the thing... they are getting married at a movie theater... why you ask? well, they are movie buffs.... So after the wedding they are having a dinner. I seriously don't know what to get this couple for their wedding... and I couldn't find a card that I really liked for them either.  After some brainstorming, I decided to make their card for them. Now, here's the rub... its been YEARS since I have made cards and given them out. I don't have any of my rubber stamps any more, as that is how I used to create cards. So I start searching through the MTC gallory looking for some inspiration on what I could make them for their wedding card. I ran across something that I thought would make THE most oringal card they will get. IT'S AN OLD MOVIE PROJECTOR!!!! lol I had so much fun making this card... I don't want to ruin it by writing on it.. I am thinking about just jotting a note on a post it and putting that in the card.. Then they can keep the card... I did put the date of their wedding on the card so they could possibly want to keep it as a keepsake.. so anyway here's the picture and I'll be back!!!

way to anxious

so today I think my mind was just going 100 miles an hour... I want to try to make this... I want to try to make that... now this... wait... I don't want to waste all of my materials on that one (cuz I still have to figure out where I'm going to get my vinyl and card stock at a decent price so I can afford to feed my new addiction lol) so I didn't do one thing but then I really wanted to see what I could do and I really wanted to try SCREEAAAAMMMMMM!!!! I WANNA TRY IT ALL RIGHT NOW!!! LOL

Needless to say. I cannot try it all right now. I don't even know how to do it all... I'm just flippin out with excitement right now. So I finally calmed down and I made one card and it wasn't even that good of a card.

I also tried to mess around in MTC to figure out how to make my own stuff like swirls and just anything other than the shapes that are already provided there. I got NOWHERE. I don't know how to do it and not sure I ever will... but I shall try again tomorrow. and the next day and the next day lol

First Post

Well. This is officially my first post... I am very excited to get this up and going. I have even signed up for some accounts to sell my handmade cards and jewelry. I have made my first "Inspiration Card" and will be putting it up for sale in my shops... I just have to figure out how to get it on here also LOL.

Please feel free to give me a shout if you have any suggestions for me. As a Newbie, I am open to all pertinant feedback. Just please don't be nasty about it lol. Bad feedback I can handle as long as it's not spiteful, just helpfull.. Well, I will ttyl!

*** I am going to attach my first creation with my cricut... I call it an Itty Bitty Inspirational card. It is 3x3 and front and back. It does not 'open' like the traditional card. Just something you can give to someone that has Breast Cancer that is 'down'. Enjoy!
